It is a common visual problem, especially among children. It affects one or both eyes. The pupil becomes close to the nose or close to the ear side.
The different categories are:
– Outward turning: the pupil’s direction towards the ear side
– Inward turning: the pupil’s direction towards the nose
– Upward turning: turning up
– Downward turning: turning down
– Infantile esotropia: it is shown on infant before six months old
